Book Release party for Teacup Memories by Rose Humphrey Burkett a big smash! Mrs. Burkett celebrated the release of her new book “Teacup Memories” a collection of poems and short stories at Capital Street Church of Christ Family Life Center, 1917 W. Capital Street, Jackson, MS 39209 earlier today. Her family, church family, friends and community representatives were in attendance. She sold all of her books on hand. Happy reading to all.

The book release party was the culmination of years of wanting to write; months of hard work to accomplish that goal; weeks of waiting for the final edits, printing and binding; a day of exhaling and praise to God for a talent that can be shared, appreciated, and stand the test of time; an hour of congrats from family and friends; and wishing for a minute more, even a few seconds to let Rose know how special she is. So glad to get my autographed copy of Teacup Memories and to read it again, this time as a fan!!!
