Luis Clavell, President, Library of Congress Chapter, Blacks in Government will honor James Meredith with the Daniel A.P. Murray Lifetime Achievement Award June 26, 2015.

Mr. Murray (1852-1925) was the first African American library assistant to serve at the Library of Congress. He was also an author, educator, and a historian.
