Mrs. McGee is a niece of James Meredith. Mr Meredith was the first African American to graduate from the University of Mississippi, aka Ole Miss.
Join us as Meredith talks about her family, Mr. Meredith’s role in desegregating Mississippi’s university system, and his trials and triumphs during this very trying time in our nation’s and southern history.
Meredith’s works include ‘James Meredith – Warrior and the America That Created Him’ and ‘Odyssey.’
