Local History Speaking Series

Community Library Mississippi launched its Local History Speaking Series today with a tour of the COFO Civil Rights Education Center and a book talk by Mary Haralson Coleman.

Guest were greeted by Dr. Robert Luckett. Angela Stewart facilitated the tour.

Thankful to new readers who purchased the 2nd edition of the biography “James Meredith: Warrior and the America that created him” by Meredith Coleman McGee. This biography was re-released by Meredith Etc on February of 2019. The 1st printed was published by Praeger Publishing, and an imprint of ABC-CLIO. This title circulates in the international textbook market.
