The Community Library Initiative seeks to create an independent library system which will empower disadvantaged children by developing their intellect through diverse library reading programs, plays, and activities.

“Live to the Beat” event spreads knowledge to Black males about heart failure

Meredith Coleman McGee, Publisher, Meredith Etc, interviewed event organizers and one former ‘heart failure’ patient. Local male readers dubbed the article very informative. Article described how necessary it is to have a regular doctor, and the warning signs of ‘heart failure.’

Mrs. McGee will discuss her book James Meredith: Warrior and the America that Created Him. This title is emerging as a Popular Culture/Ethnic Studies required reading on the college level.
