Join us as Meredith talks about her family, Mr. Meredith’s role in desegregating Mississippi’s university system, and his trials and triumphs during this very trying time in our nation’s and southern history.
Meredith’s works include ‘James Meredith – Warrior and the America That Created Him’ and ‘Odyssey.’

• The Book Gallery Inc. in Greenville, Mississippi welcomes author Meredith Coleman McGee, a niece of James H. Meredith for a book reading Saturday, November 23, 2013 from 2-4 pm. Mrs. McGee will discuss her book James Meredith: Warrior and the America that Created Him. This title is emerging as a Popular Culture/Ethnic Studies required reading on the college level.
