Being entrusted with the work of an author is very important. Today, we are honored to welcome Dr. Janice K. Neal-Vincent to our family of titles. We are publishing the 2nd printing of “A Little of Me, A Little of You: Spoken Word Choir Book.”
“A Little of Me, A Little of You” was showcased at the Greater Jackson Arts Council’s 25th Anniversary. Neal-Vincent is a playwright who performs a one woman show: “Deliverance Explosion: Women in the Struggle” featuring 124 years of social injustice highlighting Ida B. Wells-Barnett, Fannie Lou Hamer, Anne Moody, Michelle Obama, and Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Neal-Vincent is an established award winning artist who has directed spoken word choirs for several decades. She was formerly a contributing writer for the Mississippi Link and a professor at Northern Illinois University, Ohio University, and Jackson State University.
