My Picture Dictionary, (Meredith Etc. 2021; My First Book Series, (Meredith Etc. 2018; Nashida: Visits the Mississippi State Capitol, a children’s book, Meredith Etc 2017); Nashida: Visits the Smith Robertson Museum, (Meredith Etc 2016); Odyssey (Meredith Etc 2013, 2nd Edition 2018), a collection of her poems and other writings, James Meredith: Warrior and the America that created him (Praeger Publishing 03/21/13), a biography of her uncle, Civil Rights icon, James H. Meredith, and the co-author of Married to Sin (Mose Dantzler Press 2013) and Casada al Pecado Spanish edition (Mose Dantzler 2014), a memoir about Darlene D. Collier. McGee is the publisher/acquisition editor of Meredith Etc, a small press www.meredithetc.com, and the blog administrator of www.shopheirs.com. She was previously the acquisition editor at Mose Dantzler Press www.mosedpress.com, a community organizer for Southern Echo, a business developer for the Mississippi Association of Cooperatives, the assistant director of development at Voice of Calvary Ministries, a paralegal, and a convenience store owner. She founded Heirs United Investment Club, and is the financial partner.
McGee was formerly a member of the Clinton Ink-Slingers, and the Mississippi Writer’s Guild (Madison Chapter); she has been a rural fellow with the Rural Development Leadership Network since 1998. She is a founding board member of the Coalition for a Prosperous Mississippi.
She holds a bachelors degree in Legal Administration from the University of West Florida, and a masters degree in Rural Community Development and Public Policy from Antioch University McGregor – known now as Antioch University Midwest.
